What is a Employee Training Register?
In the UK it is an employers legal obligation to ensure that their employees are trained and competent. This means making sure every employee has the relevant certificates for the work they will be carrying out, the company's employee training register is the document storing this information.
Generally this will include what qualification each employee has achieved, when they achieved this and the expiry date. This needs to be monitored and updated on a regular basis to ensure all employees are competent in the eyes of the law for the roles they are undertaking.
